On Wednesday, April 30, a meeting was held between the Valoriza MáS technological program and representatives of the Chilean Timber Corporation (CORMA), with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional collaboration and coordinating joint actions in the framework of the Waste Cadastre project, part of the Valoriza MáS PTEC portfolio.
The meeting, held at CORMA’s offices, was attended by Carla Pérez, director of the Valoriza MáS program; José Vallejos Donoso, assistant manager of Regional Innovation; María Soledad Reyes, head of Sustainable Ecosystems; and Débora Pino, head of Biomaterials and Infrastructure and Logistics.
During the meeting, the lines of work of the PTEC that are of interest to CORMA were reviewed, linkage mechanisms were defined with the companies of the forestry-industrial sector associated to the guild and specific actions were established to advance in the collection of strategic information on industrial waste with valorization potential.
This articulation will allow Valoriza MáS to expand its territorial and sectoral impact, generating key data for the development of technological and innovative solutions that promote a more robust and sustainable circular economy.
